Paul Tingley

Paul Tingley is a Canadian Paralympic sailor, particularly of
keelboats. Paul became interested in sailing due to the suggestion of a physiotherapist. He shared a bronze medal for Sailing at the 2000 Summer Paralympics as a part of the Canadian Sonar team, participated in the 2004 Games, and won a gold medal for Sailing at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in a one-person keelboat.  In 2010, he won the Open one-person keelboat World Championships in the Netherlands against 88 abled and disabled sailors.  After competing at the London 2012 games in the 2.4 mR, he changed boats and joined the Sonar team campaigning for Rio.
